this year, i will call the continuation of my work in progress

last year's bet with myself was almost a good bet
there weren't too many scars
perhaps a couple of big deep ones
some have healed
some are healing

this year's silly bet took place on new year's eve
if it snowed the year would be a good one

by a good one, i mean a happy one
